Rakovic family spend their summer months at the Rakovia katun in Bjelasica, in the heart of the Biogradska gora National Park. The host Stefan is a ranger in the National Park and with his wife and their three children they take care of the katun. They are primarily occupied by growing fruit, but they also have their own garden for the needs of their family as well as their guests. Menu includes traditional dishes that Sanja will prepare for you from the products from her garden. With her you can quickly learn how to prepare these dishes, since she has experience in teaching. Three cottages with outdoor toilete and total of 12 beds located in vicinity of glacial lakes of Bjelasica will provide great spot for a hiking group or family stay on the quests to conquering Bjelasica peaks. Operates from May to October.
