Ethnological Museum (Peja Museum)

The Tahir Bey guesthouse which is now the Ethnological Museum (Peja Museum), is an old residential house built in the second half of the 18th century. It is one of the most beautiful examples of old houses of the asymmetrical type. This particular house is also quite interesting in terms of the preservation of its archaic elements, where the interior is almost untouched, thus this building is of high cultural significance, both in terms of architecture and ethnological value. The museum now stores over 120 exhibits that illustrate the culture and traditions of the country.
